“I heard from a former West Coburg person that Mo Kakoor and the Saad’s are leaving Hadfield for a few various reasons. Hadfield have strong juniors coming through and will work their way to continue to be strong”.

Againt the odds the Hadfield FC did the impossible.
Matty said even former AFL great & Jets coach Anthony Rock was impressed of the win of his junior club over the highly regarded Airport West FC who would be shattered with the loss before their big clash against West Coburg.
Hadfield was strongly lead by their players who had come through their junior system, especially VFL Northern Bullants listed player Dean Soncin. Former Melbourne listed player Michael Polley was great along with Jack Wallace, Jacob Pollizi and Nader Naser. The win would of been one of the sweetest for veterans John Colaides and Paul Micallef over their long careers with Hadfield FC.

Great news for Hadfield must have been a mighty effort with all the turmoil during the week. Congrats to Robbie Don (coach) to get the boys playing the style of football the he wants. The boys have set a standard for the year make sure you keep heading in that direction. Well done again..

A great result in Division 1 on the weekend with Hadfield FC showing they can take on the best with a very close draw to 2nd Premiership favorites West Coburg FC.
Could anybody at or involved in the game gives us a small review of what looked like a cracking match.

I have a huge amount of respect for the Hawks!
They stood firm at the start of the year and had a mass exodus and look at how solid they look now.
Only team to beat APW. Had a draw with West Coburg and comprehensively beat Northern Saints last week.
Are they the sleepers? Can they get into the 4 and do some real damage? What are your thoughts?

It is great to see Hadfield really pressing at the business end of the season for a Top 4 position.
The club under Robbie Don and the Russian Tony Rosios are doing fantastic.

A fantastic fortnight by Hadfield FC and nearly produced one of their better wins in their time (along with the APW defeat)..
What has been there turnaround?? Has it been the 19 - 22 y.o group really pick up?
