Todays Heraldsun:
ESSENDON has narrowed its search for a new $30 million home, with Keilor Park Recreation Reserve the frontrunner.
Melbourne Airport remains in the race, but Essendon Airport is out.
The Bombers have committed to announcing whether they will leave Windy Hill - the club's home since 1922 - at their annual meeting on December 16.
"We're continuing to gather ... information from the two respective land owners or land managers," Essendon chief executive Ian Robson said.
"It's a really, really important decision and the board is anxious, and rightly so, to leave no stone unturned."
The Bombers are keen to relocate because Essendon Bowls Club refuses to vacate its parcel of Windy Hill - occupied since 1885 - the out-of-date football training facilities can be upgraded.
The Bombers will build a $30 million facility by 2013 in partnership with the Australian Paralympic Committee, a move that guarantees significant federal funding.

Sensational news for the Bombers and potentially Keilor Park FC.
A great effort by their committee. Especially, Adam Papal and Dominic Corsino who really pushed this move.
Great work for K. Park who also just missed out on former Tiger Graham Polak as a recruit...

Just spoke to celebrity recruiter Dom "the snake" Corsino and Keilor Park FC have landed two quality hard midfielders from Nagambie. Exactly, what the club needed and with an easier drAw due to last season finishing 9th, they will be a fair chance to play finals.

They may need some good recruits as i believe Fredrickson and Gamble have both been training down with Mr Barclay at Albion !

I spoke to the Keilor Park Footy Department last night and they have confirmed some great news that Steve Gamble who looked likely to go to Albion FC is now going to stay with the club for season 2011.
He is massive for their quest for the Premiership and will make it tough for his mids and defenders.
The club is still working on an unlikely deal with Trent Croad, but are staying optimistic.

The great news continues at the Mighty Keilor Park FC.
Former Hawthorn AFL Premiership Player Trent Croad has signed with the Devils and is official to be playing season 2011.
He may miss a few early games, but will play a majority of the season. At the age of 30 and with being fresh is massive.
A close friend of Murray Silver and Dom "The Snake" Corsino.

Article from loal paper online. Read article below or read article at moonee-valley-leader.whereilive.com.au/sport/story/croad-to-play-with-keilor-park/Ex-Hawk Trent Croad to play with Keilor Park * Australian Rules/Footy 10 Feb 11 @ 12:51pm by Cody Winnell Trent Croad marks in front of Nick Riewoldt. Pic: Wayne Ludbey. Trent Croad marks in front of Nick Riewoldt. Pic: Wayne Ludbey. TRENT Croad will play with Keilor Park in Division 2 of the Essendon District Football League this year. The former Hawk and Docker, who played 222 AFL games between1998-2008, kicked 189 goals, twice represented Victoria, played in the 2008 premiership and was named All-Australian in 2005, will be one of several new players to don the Devils jumper this year. Club senior football manager Dom Corsino said the Devils were rapt to have secured a player of Croad’s quality and experience. “We’re really excited. It’s good for the competition and also good for Keilor Park,’’ he said. Corsino said Croad had wanted to play alongside good mate and former St Kilda City forward Murray Silver, who has also signed with the Devils. Thirteen premiership players from outside the EDFL have agreed to terms with Keilor Park, bolstering the side that finished a disappointing ninth in 2010. New coach Leigh Coles, a 300-game player and former premiership star with the Devils, will hope to guide the 2009 semi-finalist back up the table this season. Corsino said he expected B Grade to be as strong as ever with so many clubs recruiting well so far in the pre-season.
