MASSIVE NEWS for the Lakers signing Jake Desousa back to the club.
Jake had an impressive debut season with KFC, finishing the season strongly after early injuries. He spent the past 5 season before it with Coburg VFL.
He is a great in for the club in it's quest to be competitive in A Grade.

CONGRATULATIONS to Nick Sposato from TLFC who has been given Life Membership at the club.
A fantastic effort to a very good business person at the club.
Also, I have heard the Lakers are in discussion with a few good players for 2011 which is great to hear.

Heard a few TL boys will be O/S for season 2011, any recruits to handle the heat in A grade, all the best to the lakers...

I think they have nearly signed a few good VFL two's players and possibly are in discussions with a very good, experienced A Grade small forward.

yes they did very well, didn't win a game and finished with a 200pts plus flogging..... hope they enjoyed the year

I heard Matt Morelli is back at the Lakers, great pick up if true.
Also heard they are still chasing a few VFL players.
They will be a force this year once again. Is Benny Scott pulling the boots on again this year?

Taylors Lakes smashed Sebastopol in both games over the weekend. Returning star from o/s Matt Morelli played went very well which is great to hear.

Matt morelli is a huge inclusion, he changes the side. The lakes have always had a solid midfield

TL played a great game on the weekend, dominating the first half. Tails dominated the game and Manton played well. Strong team that will be in the mix of it all come finals time.

 Taylors Lakes are playing good footy and the scores look closer than the game really was. Having won the Div 1 final two years ago the Lakers kniow what it takes at the business end of the season. Can they cause a massive upset and knock APW out in straight sets? |
