Sensational news for the Moonee Valley FC that Former Carlton Champion Anthony Koutafides will replace Jason Akermanis for the clubs Round 1 game vs Keilor Park.
A fit Koutafides is very happy to be playing with the club and will also replace Aker for the Thursday night Sportsman's Night that will be a cracker!!!

My Moonee Valley spies tell me that the great Matthew Pillios will also be playing in the game with Kouta!! Matty had a few good years at MV, crossing there with EDFL great Mark Bangit in the early 2000's. Hopefully there will be a big crowd on hand to watch this game.

News out of Mv is that they are going to get rid of there 1s coach and 2s coach who are the coaches down there and why is the club doing this

I was told by a Mv player the there full forward Danny Cassett has been sacked by the club for not getting along with the younger players so who's next for Cassett what's that now 17 clubs for him

Have to wish the mighty Moonee Valley FC best wishes this week.
Greats like Ian Denny, Robert Lamberti, Mark Bangit, Travis Kemp will all be getting down this weekend to support the Mighty Valley.
I am giving a special mention to the big Veteran Leigh Sporle to be the difference on the weekend.

Great to see Moonee Valley have a great finals series. I look forward to seeing them build on their recent success next year and be Div 2 contenders.

Went down to bunnings on Saturday and was talking to some valley people and I was told that there is some big news to come out of Mv with players and also a new 2nds coach
