Heard on the grape vine that Johar Saad is leaving Hadfield to come play for MV.
Would be a good pick up for such a young side.

Yeah, Gohar Saad has been lured for good money by the Valley. The Valley are having a genuine crack with former President Dominic Aloi assisting the Footy department down there.

Got to catch up with the MVFC hierarchy recently and they are close to securing a few more quality players, one former EDFL big man back from the country. They have a lot of quality under 18's coming through their system.
On a very sad note I would like to pass my condolences to former under 18 Premiership player & young Senior ruckmam in 04 & 05 Donovan (Donny) Epa's family & friends. Donny was tragically killed in a freak training accident Wednesday morning whilst jogging in Seaford. He was a Premiership ruckman for Seaford FC and was only 24 years old. He was well liked at Moonee Valley in the 3 or so seasons he played there.

Massive news at Moonee Valley with Senior Coach and favourite son Ziad Kassab resigning from his role. He has been very good for the Valley over the past few years.
Also, Football club President Tony Rontunno has also stepped down.
It seems that the football club feels they are not able to expand financially with the MV Sporting club controlling the financial resources. This to me seems even though the entire sporting club benefits, it is weakning the football clubs financial strength.

Moonee Valley FC have announced new Senior coach Charlie Denaro to the helm.
Charlie has great experience in coaching and will be a great fit for the club after a successful stint with Syd Sharks.

I know the new MVFC new Senior coach Charlie Denaro is doing a lot of work with the club and it would be great to see MVFC players stay loyal to the club and continue its improvement it had with Ziad Kassab in 2010 who did a good job.
Charlie has a big network and will be a great coach developing the young players of the club.
