Although they dont officially begin playing senior footy until 2013 I thought it was appropriate to get a thread up and running for the Sunbury boys.
I wish them all the best and I am sure they will be plenty of quality people applying for the coaching position. Great time to start a new club in the EDFL and play Div 2 footy.

Exactly right Brad, although they may struggle initially starting off in the second divivion will be good as they should have some good matchups with Jacana/Roxy etc.

Congratulations to Casey Whelan in getting the job as East Sunbury Senior Coach. It will be tough coaching a new team from scratch but with the implementation of Division 2 what an awesome time to be part of the EDFL!
As my brother lives in Sunbury I will be keeping a close eye on how they go next year.

Any news on how East Sunbury are travelling as a new club. By the way what are East Sunbury known as? For example Jacana are the jaguars.
I may get to a few East Sunbury games due to my brother living close by. ANy news would be greatly appreciated.
