Aberfeldie should beat an inconsistent Marby this week. Marby are giving themselves a big chance, they were complacent in last year's finals series & they got knocked straight out.
Strathmore should take care of Greenvale in a tough clash & go through.
I think Aberfeldie are a year away from being a serious threat. The injury to T.Hislop has been costly.
Grand Final: Strathmore Vs Greenvale Player of Finals: Eric Kuret Premiers: Strathmore BOG: Matty Fitzgerald

For what it's worth.
This week.
Gorillas by 27pts Mores by 41pts
Grand Final: Strathmore Vs Aberfeldie Player of Finals: David Fanning Premiers: Aberfeldie BOG: G. Phillips
Massive prediction - the winner of this year's Premier Division grand final will go on to break Tullamarine's record of 5 x A Grade premierships in a row!
Special mention to Nick Mazzeo - stiff regarding the ankle injury and hopefully he comes back next year. Been a terrific player for the Mores over many many years!

Love the optimism Kingtrupo!!
I think Abers are in a bit of trouble with injuries and form a big factor while Marby might still have one good game left in them and have got a lot of stars coming back. If Abers can weather the early storm they should get over the lin. I'm expecing plenty of fire works like last year so hopefully the umpires can keep it under control!!
Abers by 4 points Mores by 28 points
Grand Final: Strathmore V Greenvale Player of finals: Arrowsmith Premiers: Strathmore BOG: Arrowsmith
Prediciton - Strathmore will finally break the premiers and champions curse which got both Keilor and Greenvale

Massive first week of finals, it has been a great season with a few sides surprising but i believe the best 4 sides are in it.
I think Marbi will get up in a close one, by 10 points.
Strathmore, will win, but not as easy as everyone is making it out to be, Strthmore by 7 points
If Greenvale didnt have the injuries they have at the moment, i think they would have won it.

Best of luck to both the Strathmore FC and the Greenvale FC for tomorrow's Westpac EDFL Premier Division 2012 Grand Final.
Both clubs have had tremndous seasons and have been clearly the best two clubs during 2012.
Both teams are extremely well drilled and it will be a ripper of a Grand Final.
Strathomore have a 21 game unbeaten streak that started in last years Preliminary vs the Jets. The Jets would give the world to end it come 2;15PM Saturday.
Best of luck to ALL...

Without doubt the greatest moment for the Greenvale FC came on Saturday. In a year where they did not have a host of big name recruits in years gone by, they won an epic battle with Strathmore. Alot of homegrowns with the skipper Rohan, Lenne, Bloomfield & the like. Anthony Rock drilled into his players at 3/4 time that he thought there fitness will hold them in good sted to win the match. It would be huge celebrations still going on at Greenvale one would imagine!!
Strathmore FC would be very gutted at present. Both reserves & seniors losing. They spent up big like Greenvale had done in the past & it shows that money is not always the key to a flag.

Great Write Up Westerly9 Greenvale and Anthony Rock should be commended on the way they have gone about things this year, not arrogant at any stage, giving all sides they played against due respect..!
Strathmore would be in shock still today, trying to work out what happened, but as we all know, money doesnt always Guarantee Success, but i am sure they will try and recruit more players to win it next..
All in all a great season to sit back and watch this comp get better and better...!
