Great job Matty, great to see Kuret getting some recognition (been a bit stiff in the league medal a few times imo). The list really shows off the strength of the comp when guys such as Tk Paiti, Little and Black miss out on being "top 50" players.
While there have been some huge losses, Nayna and Ayres in particular, they're more than adequately replaced by the likes of McPhee, Brewer and Anthony, which really highlights the quality of player our clubs are attracting.
I'm really looking forward to this season as it's shaping up to be of the more competitive seasons to date.

Fantastic effort Matty, every one of those players deserves to be in there and it's great to see Kuret get no.1 after being thereabouts for years. Looking at the quality of players who miss out just shows how deep the talent in this league runs. Nayna, Brooks and Ayres are going to be replaced with the likes of McPhee, Brewer and Browne.

My only comments would be that Mikka James, James Rohan and Matthew Knight should all be higher up the list and I would definitely have Richard Little in there. It's set to be a great year!

Great list put together mate, tough job to do at the best of time.

Shows how strong the league has become with all the new inclusions..

The big one for me though is Kuret, watched him play a few times last year and the way he works off the ball is unbelievable, he runs harder than i have seen anyone. Along with Mcphee and Brewer the other big inclusion for the jets in the Gun Jorgo, missed the last few weeks with a bad hammy from memory and will only add to the strength around the ground.

Some of the Airport West new boys will certainly make an impact across the comp this year, be interesting to see how APW hold up in A Grade, they will make a fight of it that is for sure.

Abers again have done well in the off season and the one that i think will make a big impact is Patak, watched him play at Spotswood a couple of times and runs hard and uses the ball really well, my only concern for Abers is that they have a side that can run teams off their legs but dont have a ground with enough room to do so...

The heights will be the surprise this year, they have some massive ins and patty rose will be a star in this comp, not many sides will come away with the points playing down there.

Marbi again have gone out and got some quality players but have lost a few as well, Brodie lucky to get in after missing most of last year with injury, but still a quality player if he can get his body right this year!

For me it will be as follows this year it will be Greenvale, Abers, Strathmore certains for the top 4
Then it will be Avondale, Marbi, Keilor, Doutta Stars, APW and Pascoe Vale all needing things to go right and not too many key injuries to get to try and clinch that 4th spot

Oak Park will be in for a long year in my opinion..!

Interesting comments Bicksta, perhaps Abers and Douttas should swap grounds :-P? I agree that the top 3 from last year will remain the same and also think Oakers are set for a tough year. I think APW will suprise a few people, just like Pascoe Vale last year, and could even push for finals. I also think Keilor will be much better this year. I can't see Marby improving from last year without Ayres etc and think Douttas will be about the same as well. Avondale could do anything with the players they've recruited but they're coming from a long way back. I think Pascoe Vale will get 4th spot but as you say a lot will depend on luck.

Douttas dont have a ground this year, they will be playing on the top ground which will be a little smaller.
APW have a lot of work to do, they got away with it last year based on Talent alone in my opinion. They had too much quality on the park with Contessa, Harris, Wiggins, Deluca, Kenny and Rogers who i think was one of their best all season. They have lost a few of those blokes and added a few real talented guys but i think they needed to probably pick up 10 - 12 to make the top 4.
The heights have recruited specifically for what they lacked last season, i think they will be the massive surprise for this year.
Douttas, losing Lynch (yet to be confirmed on the clearance list) hurts them, added some guys but not sure if they covered the loss of the CHB, thought he was one off the best all year along with Kahlafeldt and Morris, Langtry was handy and D Lynch was good for them as well.
Keilor will be competitive like all Micks teams and Andrew Browne will give them first use and uses his body and skills for a big bloke very well from what i have seen so far.
Marbi will be competitive, any side with a FF like Jack Antony will be pretty good, they havent replaced the quality they have lost but they will work hard under Brodie.
Pascoe Vale will also be tough to beat at home and have picked up some handy players..

I think Pascoe Vale will sneak in infront of Avondale, Keilor, Doutta Stars, Marbi, APW and OP
