As a West Coburg supporter I would love to see all the players stay but realistically with the drop to B grade it is inevitable that we lose some players.
I have heard that big Scotty Grainger is a chance to stay which would be a massive coup for B grade football.
Which players would A Grade clubs target from West Coburg?
Would love to hear your thoughts and predictions for West Coburg in the off season.

I think West Coburg would have to go in as equal Premiership favorites with Pascoe Vale.
They have kept all of their A Grade list other than Andy Nicholson and Francis Vizzini and Nazih Abbouchi both return back to the club for season 2011.
This is fantastic news for Wests.
Personally, I think there are 2 or 3 early 20 blokes that would benefit more in playing A Grade, but obviously they are determined to get WC back into A Grade.

Don't know about equal premiership favorites, have a good young list. A few of the older boys coming back is a bonus. I think paco are still in front, but as we've seen the last two years - anything can happen. That's just the WC culture, we stick together.

Great to see Wests sticking together despite going down especially with the amount of mercenaries going around these days. Some very talented players down there so hopefully they'll be rewarded and be back up in a-grade soon.

From all reports things are looking nicely down at West Coburg FC with the signing of Former Avondale Hts FC & Kyeton ruckman Beau Hopkins to the club.
Being a good mate of Jarrod Smith's Beau will be vital assisting 198cm and 2nd season player Aiden Doherty.

West Coburg will be the same as previous year, can't remember the last time they didn't field a competitive side! Keeping the cards close to our chest... Flavel came down for a run for one of the training sessions, could be a chance. Plus a few of the older blokes might come back and play. It looks to be an interesting season as many of the B grade sides are going from strength to strength.

Well he was there last night, left him having a chat with the coach... Would be good to see him back HOME!!! Heard the rumor about Rabee, not sure about it or Danny either but I am sure both will be welcomed back... Both premiership players!!! I hope so mate. Only time will tell!

Welcome back to B Grade - West Coburg.
Hillside have been active in the off season with some quality recruits added to an already strong young group however Cusworth, Davis and Hoystead were just OK without starring.
It was a close game at half time however with West Coburg's seasoned A Grade fitness proving too strong finishing with a 9 goal to 3 second half and a solid 7 goal win.
The burgers welcomed back some proven premiership stars such as Cudmore and will be hard to beat this year especially if Grainger remains injury free!

What a time for The Burgers to stand up and make a statement to the rest of B grade on Sunday. We are a proud club who pride ourselves on winning at home and being a force when we are in a lower division.
Hadfield will be a formiddable opponent especially with all their ex-burger players). With B Grade stepping up in standard I hope the Burgers don't think that B grade will be a walk in the park. Hadfield a thirsty for victory but I know West Coburg are a proud club and will not stand to lose 2 games in a row against a traditional rival like Hadfield.
As a West Coburg supporter I urge all West Coburg people to get down and cheer on the Burgers. Be safe and responsible and enjoy seeing the boys have a win against the Hawks.
To the players make sure you play hard and play the ball. If you do this you will get results. Do not get sucked in to any sledging or rough play.
Also don't forget about the before the game function (advertised on the front page of edflfooty.com!) Come down and support the MATCH OF THE ROUND!

What a great win by the mighty burgers over Pascoe Vale on the weekend! Yes Pascoe Vale did not have a key player in Denis Bicer but 34-25 scoring shots show that West Coburg put on a very good performance. West Coburg were not disgraced in A grade last season and are a force to be reckoned with.

Both teams weren't at full strength so will be interesting in the next meeting...

Is this the B grade Grand Final preview? ? It seems that Wcoburg have got a really good list together and have actually improved their list from last year in Agrade. Do they have any other player to come back?
