NS must capitalize on the run home to push for that last spot in the 6! Tho it is now out of their hands to a degree as someone has to lose a couple for them to sneak in... Just one of many points of interest over the last month of the season!!

Northern Saints have had a great season but have really fallen off over the last month. Inaccurate kicking has really cost them and in the end it just might have made the difference in playing finals.

Grainger gets 12, but Ferraro kicking 13 deserves a special mention! What a great effort! Good to see that Roxburgh Park fought the game right out kicking 4 goals in the last after their first win last week.

Good to see that Roxburgh Park fought the game right out kicking 4 goals in the last after their first win last week. Could have been an even bigger bag for Ferraro. His kicking was unusually wayward, he'd have to rank as one of the harder players to match up on in B Grade.

Great to see Rocky kicking a big bag, an absolute gun when on song.

Great day for the club yesterday. Terrific performance by the boys. Seeing the old boys faces with huge smiles was sensational.

Great effort by Abdallah winning the B Grade B&F last night. Tops off a fantastic year for the Saints, well done boys.

Northern Saints lost to Northcote Park by 30 points. lost a few but picked up enough talent to be top 2 or 3. Big year for the boys and they beleive they can go a long way. As most people know they should of beaten wc and played in granny, and very keen to make amends

Just heard the northerners won by about 70 points against Reservoir. Reservoir couldn't keep up with NS who were too fast, too skillful and too good.

;)Great win by the Northern Saints...
Too slick, too quick in this weather against Glenroy, at Glenroy..
Best wet weather game of footy ive seen in years, very close all day, but the run of the Saints shone thru in the end, & eventually after dismal kicking for goal...by both teams, Northern snagged the 4 points
Charles Ferraro, "H", Simione, could keep naming but all played well slicing up Glenroy forwards on the rebound. Northern should have won by 3 or 4 goals... imo
A few good players for Glenroy, but it looked like an all in effort for the Saints who were relentless all day

word is that Nat & Fort Caruso will be returning to their junior club. Massive news for the Saints. I've also heard that the Ferraros may not be there next season.
