Hi mate,
From what I know Ayres has signed for 2011 and 2012 I think. Captain of the Club.
Brodie Holland will step down as coach and probably play more than likely at M. Park or not at all.
Not interested to go elsewhere. Had a big $$ offer from Heidelberg, but no interest.

Well done to MPFC signing Craig "Clinkers" Clinnick as Senior coach for 2011. A very highly rated coach who will be a massive asset replacing the Dutchman. Thrives on pressure and will be looking to take Marby to a 3 peat. Chris Kelly and Kurt McLynn will be two new additions to the GF team after a few departures.

I've heard mixed rumors down at Marby land.
First of the rumors is you have signed Aisaike O'hAplin - Brother of Sentana from Carlton. Good get for Marby if true, can't see many ruckman that can go with him all day. Tall, agile and quick.
The second rumor is GA has packed up and left, taking the money bags to Deer park in WRFL. If true I hope Marby have enough sponsorship to keep the players around. I wouldn't want to see a max exodus.
Like I said, just rumors that I've heard not sure if 100% true but I'm sure Matty can verify.

Hi mate,
Yeah, I can confirm that President Luke Dipetro, along with Marc Bullen and Craig Clinnick signed the 6'6 monster Aisake (Zac) O'hailphin for 2 years at the club. He has dominated the All Ireland FL from all reports and at 25 y.o will be a great pick up for the Marby Army. I think Luke Livingstone was extremely helpful in signing the big Irishman.
Orbit Logistics (Allison's) are going to be Deer Park FC's major sponsor in 2011. I think most of the Lions players have resigned to go for the 3 peat, but yeah mate I would assume they won't have the salary like 2009, even though from all reports last year their match payments were lower.
I reckon though Jim Allison (Father of Glenn) might make a small sponsorship as he loves the club dearly and they all love him down there also. I will keep my ears open for more.

I wouldn't say he dominated though he did play a ripper of a finals series. Interesting get, while at the Bullants was capable of being clear best on ground one week and struggle to justify being there the next. Either way a 1-2 punch of he and Stewart through the ruck is a scary proposition.

I was down at Orbit Logistics earlier today supplying Jim Allison with his new I pad and Vodafone I phone 4 and after talking to the great man, I am confident him and Orbit Logistics will be a major force behind Marby Parks quest for a 3 peat. I am very confident Orbit Logistics will be the major sponsor for Marby Parks 2011 Premiership aspirations.
I know Chris Stewart is a contract player and will only be not a Marby Park if he plays Seniors with Bendigo Bombers.
Things looking good for the Back to Back Premiers and the current committee are working hard behind the scenes.

One of local footballs most experienced and successful coaches Shane "Skitz" Keogh will be a Senior assistant with MPFC for season 2011 and he will also take over as Reserves coach.
A great get by Craig Clinnick and the club.

Congratulations to Premiership Ruckman Chris Stewart who has been given a contract with the BENDIGO Bombers VFL team.
Great work to a bloke who has the potential to make some impact at VFL.

Noticed in the clearances Gareth Bowes to play with Marby, will be a very good pick up and a good bloke around the club.

Great effort by the Marby Park Lions in yesterday's First Ever BOAGS Best of the Best Cup, making the Grand Final losing to the strong football club South Barwon (GFL).
With quality missing from line up (Bullen, Holland, Barling, Carey, Stewart, Jones, McLynn, Kelly, Angelopolous & J. Soloman) and also losing Haynes & Daley amongst others, the boys showed a bit beating Albion, Clayon and Old Carey FC's to make the Grand Final.
Recruits - Jake Ryan, Brendon Hollow and Zac O'hailpin all played great games. Talking to MarK Enwright, coach of South Barwon FC he mentioned only 3 or 4 were only missing from the GFL powerhouse and he knew what a full fit Lions squad was capable of.
It was also fantastic to see EDFL Board Members - Glenn Allison, Ian Price and Brett Scott enjoying the day.

come on Matty a few exclusives.
You name all the other clubs players and recruits.
I see Hollow's there. Slipped under the radar. Heard names like Clint Runnalls, Leigh Harding and Dylan McLaren.
What about all those clearence into Marby. Whats the playing history on some of them. Bowers and Ryan should be in. What do you know of them. Any others that should make a big mark on EDFL 2011?

Jake Ryan a gun from Balwyn, very good pick up there.
Jackson Barling to miss the season for Marby, which is a loss. Had shoulder surgery over the Summer & is going overseas mid year.
Good to hear Jack "what's doin" Scott will coach the U/18's again. The man is a legend down at Marby & hopefully the team can get some sucsess, something Marby has always struggled with is the 18's.
