I heard the great Matty Pillios is playing for Marby Reserves tomorrow? Is this true mate? If so, good luck.

Can confirm that former Essendon defender Sam Hunt has signed with the Lions. He has been cleared from his WAFL club and will no doubt provide much needed relief to Marby's depleted defensive stocks. It's a massive addition just before the June cut off!

Marby vs Strathmore and Keilor vs Oak Park are two massive games this weekend and could shape the top 4

Interesting post Bricksta, that injury list has talent and proven performers in finals. Marby have had a horror run with injuries this year and with key players coming back over the next few weeks, I believe they are still the team to beat. From what I have seen this year, Im tipping a Marby vs Oak Park Grand Final. Oak Park have a dream run home.

Have to say that as a bystander, all thus talk about MP being the most disappointing team 'if' they miss the finals concerned me... MP haven't ever finished top and don't seem to care... With a top 4 it's only 3 games of footy to be won... Still massive chances!

For mine it isn't anything to do with them being a chance to miss the finals as at the end of the day a few good sides will miss, it's just on a number of occasions they seem to have a number of players playing for themselves.

Haven't seen them this year, so can't comment on this season but plenty of people have believed them to be a team of champions rather than a champion team in the past... Come finals time they have pulled it together the last 2 years, we'll watch with interest to see if they do it again...

Agreed Smithy. It's about the end of the year not the middle of the year.
The facts are they have the best team in the comp when fully fit by a fair distance no matter how they assembled it. The facts are that all of them should be back for the finals with two games under their belt. Now after Aber's loss they are a monty for 4th.
They will go into every final they play as clear favourites and only have to win 3 to claim the three-peat. They should win and for mine they still will win.
To claim them as the "most disappointing' team in the comp just shows ppl's lack of knowledge. Anything short of a flag given the extra players they have bought in this year would hand them that tag but as far as I can see they are stil very very much on track. Far to premature.
Anyone when Barling will be back. Some ppl saying he's the only one that may not get back. Maybe Pillios can let us know??
