the scores today do not reflect how close keilor were today and i reckon greenvale got away with a lot of dirty hits on players.
umpires looked after greenvale all game like they normally do.

ha ha
Whilst Keilor played a great first half and were very unlucky not to be at least level they barely went inside 50 for the second half and 4-5 goals flattered them. Each to there own though
As for the other stuff it's barely worth mentioning. You have blokes out there that time after time think its ok to whack stars miles behind the ball (the Moore's) and clubs won't put up with it. Luckily its one of Mick's old tricks so clubs are all over it now. Funny a few Keilor players after the game said they were sick of it.
As for the umpires you more than got the rub of the green but hey again though everyone sees it differently. There were ironical cheers for a greenvale freekick??
Keilors a good club and I'm sure they will be back in the four next year

Keilor have signed ex Richmond ruckman Dean Putt, beating out Greenvale to sign him.

Keilor's reserves have become a very good recruiting ground for B grade type clubs. The simple fact is the gap between U18's & A grade is too great for some kids to step up straight away. They get impatient & clubs pick them off. I am aware of at least 18 kids coming up from U18's to to suggest an old list is wrong. All recruits are early 20's replacing Pask, Pearce, Zahra, Moloney to name a few. Keilor will line up with a lower average age than 2011.

Exactly right, when clubs have two u18 sides as well this increases the amount of overflow of players, Westmeadows for example usually ends up with a handful of talented youngsters who can't get a look in at Greenvale, it isn't necessarily a problem quite the opposite, it's good because it keeps more people playing which can only be good for the comp.

Keilor FC played up in Barooga NSW. They ended up winning by about 6 goals. No standouts in the side, just a good even performance from everyone. A lot of good young faces at Keilor.

KEILOR vs STRATHMORE - Good Friday game this Friday @ KEILOR. Get down and support a massive day of EDFL A Grade Football. Contact the club to get to the luncheon - $30 per head. I will do a great interview with Senior coaches Digby Morrell and Mick McGuane on stage before the big clash.

After a tough start in 2012 with two losses against last years Premiers Strathmore & Runner’s Up Oak Park FC, Keilor were very impressive against Craigieburn last weekend. The return of Mikka James (after being a late withdrawal week before) was great and Jarrod Garth dominated kicking 7.6 to single handily tear the Eagles backman apart. Star Ruck recruit Dean Putt remains playing with Bendigo Bombers alongside Jets forward Jacob Thompson and could return for Keilor in a few weeks alongside a few others.
