Douttas seemed to be able to pick some players up over the past couple of years in Feb & Mar so hopefully for their sake they can do it again. Already it would seem the DS/TL/CBurn games against each other could be classified as the old "8 point" games. Anyone know when the 2011 clearances start appearing on EDFL site? |

Shylo Smith heading to Albion in the WRFL. Looks like Barclay has a few other EDFL players lined up also.

smith is a very good in and under player and has the speed also will be missed i think down at ds

Add to that Carey and Hollow?
Still think they could be ok if they can hold onto the big ruckman Jones, Kovac etc and add the two Barhams as well as the good young kids coming through such as Tommy Black.

Agree Douttas may be starting to look OK with some handy pickups in recent weeks. Jarrod Hodgkin is one and the former Murray Bushranger/Wodonga forward could do some damage this year. Mark Lynch - former Southport and Nyah Nyah (CMFL) is a smaller type who will add some dash through the back half/midfield. Former Gisborne junior and one time Calder Cannon Luke Rowland will also be handy. |

Any truth to the RUMOR that jordon barham has decided not to commit to D.S this year because of the mass player exodus and they will more than likely struggle this year???

No chance of Jordy Barham playing at Doutta Stars in 2011. He will be in the Northern Territory for the year.

The DSFC tonight after a few tough month's of Senior departures signed a few quality recruits. Luke Stapleton and Matthias Liddy have both come to the club for season 2011.
Both have been really good players from the St Mary's FC in the Northern Terrirtary and will be important for the Stars who only went to a close to full strength Gisborne FC by 4 goals on the weekend.
