Doutta's have made a massive play @ former North Melbourne player Anthony Rock.
My mail is they have thrown a lot to secure the former AFL assistant coach and he is on the verge on signing a 2 year deal.
Rocky is a Level 3 coach who has massive raps from peers and the DS footy department feel he would be the perfect man to get there club back to the top.

any news matty on the comings and goings at D.S. all i've heard so far is that they've lost jimmy hollow, power, elvie, carey (retired) and david king and haven't picked up anyone. could be another long year?

Yeh I heard there are no new faces at training which is disappointing because Billy Barham is the best thing to happen to that place in a long while. Barham will be good for them just as long as they don't expect too much too soon. They need to keep rebuilding and keep playing their juniors and they will get it right as they've got some good young players such as Hamish Moore, Leech, Kovac etc.

Dont see what all the whinging is about A grade target fringe vfl and afl players B grade target fringe A grade player if you want your kids to stay play them and pay them its cheaper than buying merceneries and they usally have a better crack at the ball so either stop all buying players or shut up the whinging. When someone else has a good recruiter. and by the way I dont follow Airport West

A little birdie told me Carey hasn't retired and is lining up for Marbi in 2011 as he wants to win a flag. Can anyone cnfirm this?

Hi mate, haven't had a chance to jump on for a day or two, but Kade Carey is definitely in heavy discussions with Marby Park.
I have no doubt before the garbage of $$$ comes on it is for the mere facts that he would be starving to have some A Grade success in this Comp.
Also, he is best mates with Matt Towner and very close with Joe Laverde.
I know that he also has a strong relationship with Craig Clinnick from there inter league game 2 years back.
From all reports his body is feeling fantastic.
No doubt it would be a tough decision for Kade knowing what a good bloke he is and how much he rates DSFC.

HOLLOW massive chance for Marby from what I hear.
Best mates with Kade Carey and I'm tipping Kado is pretty persuasive and Jimmy may be keen to play football . I also heard Hollow may play QAFL possibly.

Some great news for DSFC with Jordan Barham (Gisborne - SANFL) joining brother Marcus for season 2012 & beyond.
Will be a great assets for the club off and on the field. Good, mobile CHF/Ruck.

Great news about Jordon Barham, but Matt you've written that he's not coming on board till 2012, D.S might be in B grade in 2012, and i wouldn't image he'd want to play B grade?
Any other news coming out of D.S? Comings and Goings?
