My mail is former Blue Brad Fisher could be close to signing to the Eagles for season 2011.
Be a huge in for the club.

I can confirm that Paul Barnard and the Craigieburn FC have decided to look at the options in changing their Senior Captain away from Daniel Nolan for season 2011.
From all reports Nugget is shattered. He has been the heart & soul of the club for nearly a decade. He has a huge following at the club with the players and he is a very good person.
I hope it all works out well with the Eagles as they are a great club with so much potential and Barnard did well with an upcoming list last season.

There must be certainly more to the decision....only Barnard will know the reason and results next season will show what sort of a decision it was.

Massive news potentially out of Craigieburn FC with Carlton Legend and Superstar ANTHONY KOUTAFIDIES strongly considering making a comeback and joining close friends Ang Christou and Ang Lekkas.
I caught up with Souvlaki Huts finest today and he confirmed it is definately on the cards.
Would be another great drawcard for the EDFL.

Probably one of the highest profile recruits of all time. I see him running princess park all the time, still looking extremely fit. I have heard Nolan is having chats with Pascoe vale about a potential move there.

Great news for the Craigieburn Eagles signing former Greenvale Premiership player George Bakoulas to the club for season 2011.
After a few quieter season in the WRFL, George was very good for Cohuna FC in the Central Murray over the past two seasons.
His experience and height will be a great addition to Paul Barnard and the team.

Craigieburn 19.10.124 def Keilor 12.20.92
Bakoulas and Whitnall kick 9 between them to guide the Eagles to a fantastic Round 1 win at Keilor. Will Barnard be coach of the year?

The local footy public had all but written off Craigieburn's season however they certainly sent a message against one of the flag favourites yesterday.
Keilor kicked themselves out of it in the first half, they had more scoring shots 20 to 14 however trailed at the main break by 4 points.
Keilor's midfield were strong however Barry Brooks' influence over the ground was one of the main differences coupled with the fire power the Eagles now possess up forward with tall targets Bakoulas and Whitnall.
This has proven to be a huge round 1 shock for the EDFL A Grade!

Great result for Barny and his team, i know he has worked hard in the off season to build a culture that will get the club going forward.

I believe Craigieburn vs Keilor today is the match of the round. The eagles had a great win away in round 1 and will be hard to beat at home today. However Keilor had a fantastic win last week against Marby and a win today will see them back in finals contention. Armstrong and James the key for Keilor whilst Brooks and Whitnall are having great seasons for the eagles. Good luck to both teams.
