Greenvale have been so good for so many seasons without taking home the major prize. Will there be coaching changes? Will there be departures from the playing list or will they be a force again in 2011?

Even though Super fell short over the past 3 years, it must be recognised what an enourmous job that he did over the 7 seasons he coached the Jets in A Grade.
- 2 Premierships is a great effort. The 4 Runner's Up will also hurt, but the Jets dominated H & A seasons and set the benchmark for EDFL Football with Strathmore in the early to mid of the decade.
Anthony Rock will have a fantastic list to work with and losing Bicer, Randallo and the Pekes brothers will hurt, but he is confident with his great AFL network he can lure a few delisted AFL players straight to the Jets.

Massive news at the Jets signing a new major sponsor for the next 2 seasons in ICON SERVICES. A massive commercial cleaning service across the state.
Also, congratulations to President Bruce Kent for receiving last night at the EDFL Presidents dinner an award for excellence from the AFL Victoria.
John Larkins (Aberfeldie) and Bernie Shinners (Craigieburn) were also given this award. A great effort to their assistance with the recent rule changing.

Got some mail that Anthony Rock is close to signing an Ex AFL listed player who just missed out on last weeks national draft.
The Jets have lost 2 quality in Bicer and Randallo from 2010, but have quality juniors coming through and had Bloomfield, Bouzokas, Budge and the young Aloi's (just to name a few) playing in the magoo's.
Also, David Kovacevic is set to return and at 21 will be a dangerous forward.

Got some mail that the the Jets are looking really good on the track under new coach Anrhony Rock. The great news is Scott Lucas is fit & committed for the Jets for season 2011. Also, A.Rock has also lured celebrity runner & fitness fanatic Rodney J Groves as potentially the Jets runner for season 2011!

Can confirm Hayden Skipworth and Courtney Johns both former Essendon are in huge discussions with GVFC, but are yet to sign.
It would be good to have them both in EDFL.

Greenvale may be close to signing a quality EDFL midfielder after just missing out on the services of Hayden Skipworth and Courtney Johns.
Once I can confirm I will.

I was actually misinformed about the EDFL midfielder going to the Jets and it looks 99% unlikely.
The Jets though with already a few recruits and so many good first and second year players coming through will be extremely strong.
Anthony Rock will make a big impact at the club and is there biggest recruit.

Former Carlton midfielder Chris Johnson who was with the Blues until last season has committed with the Greenvale FC for season 2011. The talented left footer is a massive get and will be another great former AFL addition to our comp!

I have heard the Jets had a great night training last night and will play the first half dozen matches away in season 2011.
