ABERFELDIE FC have announced John McMillan as new Senior coach for the next 2 years.
He is a former Essendon Baptists coach who has recently been Assistant coach of Calder Cannons and was also involved in Abers juniors over the past decade.
McMillan also had short stints with Coburg & Essendon FC's and Keilor FC.
Good luck to him and Aberfeldie over the next few seasons.

Some good signs at Aberfeldie last night with over 50 at training. Nick Capatan from Williamstown has been secured, Chris Goullet from PEGS, Alistar Rae from Strathmore and a possible return from big man Steve
Some positive news for the Two Blues.

Yes, Nick is an Abers junior and will be a great addition. Very good things happening down there with a very very high profile about to begin training and a handful of other quality recruits already signed.

I have some very strong mail Aberfeldie have played a massive financial hand for Ex Bomber Hayden Skipworth. Skipworth who last year committed to Keilor when not playing at Bendigo has been linked also with Greenvale in a possible package with other former Bomber Courtney Johns.
With Abers being more proactive with recruiting this pre season already picking up Goullet, Glassford, Nick Catapam, Al Rae & potentially Marwan Abdulwahed they would be favorites to take on the "Big 5" of the EDFL.
Adam Houli who has been in discussions to other clubs also seems to look like staying which is huge for the club.

Cheers for letting the world know matty haha. Good to see you don't know everything though as you have left out a couple of very handy recruits from that list. I look forward to seeing Marbi come in at the very end and trump everyone just like they did with McGlynn and Livingstone

WILDCOLONIAL BOY, great to hear how unfactual your last post was. I am sure you could facebook Livingston & Mclynn and they would tell you Aberfeldie FC easily outbidded any other club for them this time last year if they felt like it.
More than likely if you know any of the Aberfeldie FC department they would tell you the same truth if they felt comfortable.
Great news for Aberfeldie FC Senior squad as they have outbidded Greenvale and Keilor for the services of Courtney Johns and Hayden Skipworth.
This is absolutely massive for such a great football club who have had minimal Senior success since the Paul Harrison days.
The inclusion of these two players and the other recruits (Goullet, Glassford, Willi boys, Rae, potentially a WC footballer) will now put Aberfeldie with the Top 5.
Great news for the Two Blues.

Haha, fair reply there Matty...still missing a couple of recruits from that list though . And yes, Livingston and McGlynn wanted a premiership so nobody can blame them for choosing Marbi...McGlynn should get his this year.

Gazza, plenty of clubs have made plays for Robbie but his staying at WC. We goal is to get WC back into A grade. As for the WC training with Abers, it would be safe to assume that is is Marwan Abdul-Wahed.

Good to hear Subway, its good to see loyalty still does exist! 90% of the WC will be the same as last year, all decided to stay on to get the club back to A grade...
